Discover-Nxt
DISCOVER-NXT is a low cost, highly automated process discovery service. It creates a process repository, leveraging our NXT-4Sight platform to drive intelligent business transformation decisions. At the core of this service is the Process Discovery Engine and a collection of Process Discovery tools that capture process information. The service is driven by our Process Discovery methodology that defines each activity, entry criteria, and exit criteria. It encompasses three phases – Capture and Enrich, Automated Process Discovery and Exception Resolution.
Capture and enrich phase focuses on automated capture of
- Detailed process information, process metrics for time & motion studies
- Process flows including main workflows, alternate scenarios and exceptions
- Information about data sources, inputs, and outputs
- Details of applications accessed
Once the data is captured, it is cleansed, enriched and uploaded to the Process Discovery Engine
Process discovery phase is an automated activity that
- Identifies process flows within the captured data based on configurable predefined rules.
- Uploads updated process activities and metrics are updated into the process repository.
- Documents unresolved exceptions/ unidentifiable actions.
Exception resolution phase will
- Resolve exceptions raised during the process discovery phase.
